DIRTY MONEY RIP?

The rumour mill was on overdrive a couple of hours before the Madball show on Friday night at the Underworld. Dirty Money pulled out of the show . The reason? They had split up.

This statement was then issued on their myspace:

Dirty Money is no more. Due to a number of personal reasons Rob decided to part ways with the band. This is the end of the band.
No last show is planned. We will not be playing shows over the next week, and any shows we have booked will probably be cancelled. I'm sure more news will follow. Graham is doing a band that sounds like Antidote. Roman still does Cold Snap. Thanks for all the support. This is it for the moment. DM

The band have numerous UK shows, a European tour and a US tour to be remembered by, but will be sorely missed by many hardcore fans around the world.

I look forward to hearing Graham's new band, and wish the rest of the band all the best of luck with whatever musical endeavors they embark upon.

It is safe to say that it has blown everyones mind, featuring incredible bands from America and the best talent that Europe has to offer. London hardcore features HEAVILY on the bill, with appearances from Knuckledust, Dirty Money, and Injury Time. London favourites, PAs Wisdom in Chains are also on the bill, and rumours are flying around that more big name bands are to be added onto the already extraordinary bill.

SO SO SLACK

Hi everyone. As usual, so slack, so apologies. Now that the fest is done, im going to be updating MUCH more. On with the news!

RunningRiotFest

I would like to thank EVERYONE that played this year, came out, and helped out. It couldn't have been done without the help of many so thank you all.

The fest is going to go on hiatus. Unfortunately, with other commitments at this time, I will not be doing the fest in 2010. The fest may return after that, I am not totally ruling it out, but at the moment, this is not looking likely.

Hang The Bastard Blog:

Everyone go check out Hang The Bastards Blog, featuring loads of updates about the band!
Word on the grapevine is that Stu who used to play in Army of Flying Robots is playing bass for them now.. confirm/deny anyone? Anyhow, they are playing with Madball at the Fighting Cocks next year at what promises to be the show of the year... which leads me to...

Madball at the Fighting Cocks SOLD OUT.

You snooze, you LOSE. This is promising to be the show of the year. Madball, in a room that can barely fit 100 people, with support from Londons Ninebar, Hang The Bastard and Pay No Respect? I cant wait.

LDNLove:

As far as I am aware, LDNLove is all up to date with shows happening in the city. If you ARE putting a show on, then please drop me an email there and i will add it up!

There are some awesome shows coming up, including Trash Talk next month and Agnostic Front with Cocksparrer next year!

Thats it for now. Till next time folks!
